- Spread the mayonnaise on the flat sides of the top half of each bun.
- Place one slice of tomato on the bottom half of each roll.
- Add two slices of bacon, side-by-side, on top of each tomato slice.
- Top with shredded lettuce and the top rolls, mayonnaise side down.
- Garnish each slider with a cherry tomato and a piece of kale using a toothpick to secure.
Swirls of Flavor Recipe Tips
- If desired, sprinkle a pinch of salt and black pepper over the tomatoes for a boost in flavor!
- For added texture and flavor, butter both sides of the slider rolls before toasting.
- Thick cut bacon is the best option as it adds the perfect amount of bacon without having to pile it high on each slider.
- Crispy bacon adds great texture
- Don’t like mayo? Add your favorite condiment in its place. You can even use ranch dressing for a punch of flavor.
- Stir a little barbecue sauce into your mayonnaise for a flavorful condiment
Substitutions
- You can use plum tomatoes in place of the roma tomatoes.
- Shredded romaine lettuce will also taste delicious if substituted for the iceberg lettuce.
- For more flavor, chipotle mayo can be used as the mayonnaise on your sliders
- You can use Big Mac Sauce or Chick Fil A Sauce in place of plain mayonnaise
- Grape tomatoes can be used instead of the cherry tomatoes. Multicolored grape tomatoes would be pretty!
