Roasted Garlic Butter Board With Fig Jam

There’s a new viral trend in town and it’s a delicious one for sure! The butter board trend is a fun new way to serve your bread and butter this year.

A twist on charcuterie boards and the cheese board, butter boards are the new charcuterie board and the trendy way to go!

I flavored butter with an easy roasted garlic recipe, made quickly in the air fryer. Roasted garlic lends a sweet mild flavor to this butter.

The roasted garlic along with fresh sage give this butter an amazing taste. Top this off with fig jam and fresh sage leaves and you’ll have yourself a beautiful butter board bursting with seasonal flavors.

Drizzle with my homemade hot honey ,or if you’re short on time you can buy a bottle of hot honey, for a hint of heat and a pretty garnish.

I served mine with these mini toasts, because they are just too cute, but you can serve your butter board with your favorite breads and or crackers.

You can also make our homemade bread without yeast and serve warm bread with your board.

Your guests can use the bread to scoop up the butter or you can serve your butter board with a pretty butter knife.

Add in fresh figs for a beautiful and delicious presentation and you’re all set for the holidays and dinner parties!

Substitutions

  • You can substitute dried sage for the fresh sage although the flavor will be slightly different
  • I used salted butter but you can use unsalted butter if you choose to
  • You can substitute 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic for the roasted garlic but it will give the butter a stronger harsher garlic flavor than the roasted garlic
  • You can substitute your favorite jam for the fig jam
  • Can’t find fresh figs? Garnish with another seasonal fruit
